President Of Slovakia Arrived In Kyiv On Visit

Zuzanna Čaputova said she has good news for Ukraine.

The President of Slovakia arrived on a visit to Kyiv on May 10. Zuzana Čaputova said she had good news about aid to Ukraine.

“Today I arrived for a farewell visit to Kyiv. I am here for the fourth time during my term, including the third time during the war. I’m here also because I bring good news about Slovakia’s help to Ukraine,” Zuzana Čaputova wrote on Facebook.

According to media reports, the President of Slovakia is scheduled to meet with the head of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Other meetings are also planned.

According to iDNES.cz, Čaputova’s powers as president expire in mid-June. In this regard, she began a series of farewell visits. Her last trip is planned to the Czech Republic, where Čaputova will arrive in the last week of her presidency.

Caputova will be replaced as President of Slovakia by the pro-Russian Speaker of Parliament Peter Pellegrini, who won the election in April.
