Political Scientist: Lukashenka Is Under Sights Of NATO Forces

Minsk received a signal.

The Lukashenka regime suddenly began a non-strategic nuclear weapons check. Iskanders and a squadron of Su-25 are ready. The beginning of the audit became known on May 7.

The day before, the Russian MoD announced that it would conduct exercises on the use of tactical nuclear weapons "in the near future" on Putin's instructions.

Why did Lukashenka and Putin need to "shake the nuclear baton"? The Charter97.org website spoke about this with the political expert, head of the Ukrainian Center for Military and Legal Studies Oleksandr Musienko:

— Lukashenka spoke about this yesterday, calling to stop those who threaten nuclear war and want to turn the planet into nuclear ash. That is, to paraphrase, he called for Putin to be stopped. After all, now no one threatens with nuclear weapons, only he. This, by the way, is a very interesting observation.

He and Putin synchronously began to check the troops. I will say that everything went to this when the Russian Federation deployed nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus. It was clear that Belarus would play a leading role in this confrontation with the West.

It was put at the forefront of these actions: demonstrations of nuclear capabilities, threats, escalation, and the like.

Russia has its own task here. They do not see strategic success on the battlefield in Ukraine today. Putin is really afraid of the entry of French and other countries' troops into Ukraine. Plus, they are seriously puzzled by the strikes of Ukrainian drones on their territory.

Therefore, Putin again began to frighten the world with a nuclear baton. He has done this before, but this year there is a distinctive feature — Belarus is also used.

— Will Lukashenka get away with it?

— Over the weekend, an interesting publication appeared in the Italian La Repubblica that NATO has pushed back the "red lines" for a clash with the Russian Federation. They write that the NATO member states are considering options for striking military targets on the territory of Belarus in case of aggression from its territory (against Ukraine or other neighboring countries).

They sent a signal that all facilities (including the storage of nuclear weapons, the location of their carriers) were under the sights of NATO troops. If Lukashenka tries to do something, to go for provocations, they are ready to strike. Any provocations will have serious consequences.

I emphasize, Putin is just using Belarus, that's it. There are no threats to Belarus now.

I am sure that if they do something, they will retaliate. However, Putin is satisfied with this. You see, they will forget about their obligations to the CSTO, as they forgot in the case of Armenia. Pashinyan has not even received an invitation to Putin's inauguration. That's it, he doesn't need him anymore. The same can happen with "ally" Lukashenka. It is not a fact that Putin will protect him.

Unfortunately, Belarusians are in the sights. Lukashenka and Putin put the first Belarusian people at risk.
